And now yet again Akhtar is in news but for all the right reason. Yes, the actor has signed Nikkhil Advani’s next production; the directorial debut of his assistant Ranjit Tiwari. The actor has apparently agreed to play a lead in Lucknow Central. The film is a story about a man who is been sentenced life imprisonment.
As per reports in the leading daily, “The film is set in a jail with music at its core. It is expected to go on floors by October end and has Farhan in the role of a prisoner. Most of the film will be shot in Mumbai on a huge set in a studio. Farhan will be seen in a completely new avatar and the music will be composed by maestro A R Rahman.”
