No change in 'Dangal's release date, confirms Aamir Khan

Quashing the rumour about the release date his flick 'Dangal' being brought forward, Aamir Khan has said that the movie will hit the theatres on its scheduled date, that is December 23. Addressing the media at the location shoot of his upcoming wrestling biopic in Ludhiana, the 51-year-old actor said, "We are coming on Christmas weekend. All the reports regarding the release date of the film are false. We are not releasing our film on December 16. It will release on December 23, which is a Friday just two days before Christmas."

Earlier, it was reported that the 'PK' actor preponed the release date of Nitesh Tiwari's directorial to December 16. Talking about his movie, Aamir said that he feels that the film would promote wrestling and revealed that he has been learning wrestling under the guidance of coach Kripa Shankar for a year. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the forthcoming biopic, which also stars popular television actress, Sakshi Tanwar, will narrate the story of a wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who teaches wrestling to his two daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.
