While several Bollywood celebrities have come out in support of protecting animal rights in the past, John Abraham, who too is an animal lover, has vouched his support for the same. The actor recently condemned the act of culling of animals.
Referring to the recent incident of a viral video where a dog was thrown off a terrace, John stressed on the need of stricter laws that will protect the rights of animals. While John did not mince words about how miffed he was that the ones who did indulge in the crime got away easily, he jokingly added that if slaughtering is a way of reducing animal population to maintain ecological balance, may be a similar trend for humans should work too. Talking about his intense love for animals, John whilst he agrees that the population of animals are to be curbed for a certain balance in the environment, he believes in proactive methods. He stated that instead of reacting to the situation afterwards, we must take precautions before it goes out of hand leading to culling as the only solution.
On the Bollywood front, John Abraham who was last seen in Rocky Handsome, is gearing up for the action comedy Dishoom starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshaye Khanna among others.
