Marvel just released a new trailer for a Wolverine series, and we now know for sure that the next person playing Wolverine won't be James “Logan” Howlett

Marvel Entertainment's official YouTube channel announced that a new series called "Ultimate Wolverine" will be released on January 15, 2025.
The new trailer for the Ultimate Wolverine series suggests that someone other than Logan might be using the claws. This person is called the "Maker's Ultimate Weapon. "
As many people guessed before the trailer was released, one scene in the trailer suggests that Bucky "The Winter Soldier" Barnes will wear the classic suit in this new version.
Marvel shared more information about the new comic in a news announcement on their official website.
"The exciting trailer shows that Wolverine is still the best as he is sent to fight mutants by his team, which includes Magik, Colossus, and Omega Red," said the press release.

Author Chris Condon mentioned that there are still some surprises in Ultimate Wolverine's future issues that we haven't heard about yet.
"Every storyline we've planned takes our thoughts about Wolverine as far as they can go," Condon said, "which is what an 'ultimate' Wolverine should be. "
You’ll need to wait until January to see the first issue, but don’t worry if you’re feeling restless.
The new Ultimate Wolverine will be appearing in issue #1 of Ultimate Universe: One Year In, which will be released on December 11.
