Salman Khan asked to issue apology for raped woman comment.....

Earlier today Salman Khan found himself getting public ire after the media reported the actor comparing his gruelling shoot schedule of Sultan to that of a raped woman. While the actor soon realized the magnitude and misplaced humour of his comment and tried amending it, social networking sites were buzzing with people criticizing him for it.

Now we hear that the National Commission for Women (NCW) has asked Salman Khan to issue a public apology for the statement. In fact Lalitha Kumaramangalam, the chief of NCW, stated that the commission has sent the actor a letter asking why he made the remark and has also given him seven days within which to apologise for his comments, failing which they will initiate legal action.

Simultaneously talking about Salman's comments, the actor's father Salim Khan tweeted saying, "Undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong, the simili, example and the context. The intention was not wrong. Nevertheless I apologise on behalf of his family his fans & his friends. Forgiveness is to pardon the unpardonable or it is no virtue at all. To err is human to forgive divine. Today on Intl yoga day lets not run our shops on this mistake."
